Sydney Sweeney is an up-and-coming A-list star and now, superstardom is a family business.
On a recent episode of "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," the "Anyone But You" actress told Fallon she gave both of her grandmas the gift of a lifetime: movie roles in her upcoming horror film "Immaculate."
“I flew my grandmas out," Sweeney, 26, said, before remarking, "They’d never been to Europe. My Grandy’s dream was to go to Italy, she’s never left the country before, so I surprised them, flew them there, and I let them be extras in the movie."

Fallon showed the audience a picture from the film, where her grandmas played "little old nuns," as one of them, her "iconic" Grandy, took a smoke break.
"We went outside and I had to capture how amazing she looked," Sweeney said.
The R-rated horror film is set to be released in theaters on March 22.

The roles are not the first time Sweeney has helped her family.
In December, the Emmy-nominated "Euphoria" and "The White Lotus" star revealed during an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" that she bought back her family's generational home.
"My great-grandma had this beautiful house; it was a two-bedroom cute house that they lived in. My grandma was born in it. My mom was born in it, and then as the kids got older, they built on the property another home," Sweeney told Clarkson. "And when my great-grandpa passed away and my great-grandma got old they just couldn’t afford to keep it anymore."

Sweeney, who is from a town near Spokane, Washington, decided to purchase back the family home in 2022.
"I called up the owners and I said, 'I want to buy my great-grandmother’s house back,'" Sweeney said. "My (grandma) still lives in the house next door," she added. "So I'm neighbors with my (grandma) now."
